
Carmelo Anthony was born May 29, 2008 in Brooklyn, Ny. When he was only 3 years old his father died of cancer. When he was 8 his family and him moved to Baltimore, Maryland. There is where he would set his eyes on the goal he wanted to have for the rest of his life. He began playing in tournaments in his neighborhood. He then traveled to Virginia to go to one of the best high schools in the country, Oak Hill Academy he was so great in high school that his name traveled across the country and he was named an All-American. Coming out of high school Carmelo was the top prospect for the NBA but he decided to make a smart decision and play in college. So he got a scholarship to Syracuse University and there he would show his talent against grown men and even they could not substain his greatness and talent. There in college he would give himself a name that will be marked in history as him being the best college player ever. He scored 22.2 ppg and 10.0 rpg with those stats he led the Syracuse Orangmen to the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship in 2003.He was honored with the Final Four MVP for his efforts of an explosion of 33 points against Texas in the semi-finals and a solid 20 point and 10 rebound effort in the final victory over the University of Kansas. After his freshman year in college he entered the NBA draft and was drafted the 3rd overall pick. The draft he was in is now considered one of the best draft classes in the history of NBA drafts. Carmelo Anthony is
now considered the best scorer in the league. Not self-proclaimed but by the one people consider the best, Kobe Bryant. He is the captain of one of the best scoring teams in the NBA and the captian and best player on the USA team. He then started creating sneakers with the company of Jordan. He is a model for the company as well. He has stared in many music videos and television series. Soon enough will come his own show. On December 25, 2004 he was engaged to MTV star La-La Vasquez and he had a baby with her last year by the name of Kiyan Anthony.
